The KCT Board has instituted a second call? effective from 16 November 2009 with a closing date of 6 January 2010? ?for the EPSRC pilot grant PhD Plus programme.

Final year PhD students who have received support for their studies from EPSRC? and who will have passed their PhD viva by the start of the potential award? are invited to submit an application to their School in the first instance to be considered for the programme.

All awards will be for a maximum of twelve months and must finish before 30 September 2011. It must be noted? however? that only three applications will be permitted for each School.
