“!” (Hollywood Blues) is a desperate comedy?set in the climate of a post-9/11 and Hurricane Katrina world, where?disaster, threat and survival is a way of life. Featuring a spoken?choir of seven actors, the performance weaves together an?hysteria-driven disaster movie dialogue, where all plot and?characterisation are removed.

This relentless stream of articulations is highly?comedic, yet also tragic and existential. Faced with an unknown?terror, the triumphalism of Hollywood dissolves and – for the?audience – all we can do is hold on for the ride…
