Once again, our university has been ranked amongst the top 150 institutions in the world in the 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) compiled by Shanghai Ranking.

This year’s table shows that BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 is included in a group of universities ranked ‘100-150’ so have not received a specific numerical ranking. More than 1,800 out of 4,000 universities across 93 countries and regions are finally listed in total across the Shanghai Ranking overall and subject lists.

The organisation’s latest Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) ranks four BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 subjects in the top 20 globally.?We’re ranked fourth in the world for Oceanography for the second consecutive year; ninth for Nursing (a rise of two places); 12^th for Telecommunications Engineering and 20^th for Aerospace Engineering.

Additionally, six BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 subjects are ranked in the global top 50 where the University is 24^th for both Marine/Ocean Engineering and Transportation Science & Technology; 33^rd for Earth Sciences; 36^th for Electrical & Electronic Engineering; 41^st for Public Health and 48^th for Geography.

The Shanghai Ranking is based on a number of academic indicators and third-party data to measure the performance of world universities in relevant subjects, including international academic awards, top academic achievements, research quality, and international collaboration. In GRAS 2021, the index of international academic awards is based on an Academic Excellence Survey (AES) conducted by Shanghai Ranking.
