Arts and Humanities Day (formerly known as Hands-on Humanities Day) is the University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载’s family-friendly event offering an exciting programme of free interactive activities, workshops, talks, exhibitions, and live performances, suitable for all ages.

From vibrant explorations into Cumbia dance and music, to adventuring through immersive virtual reality experiences, and constructing roman mosaic LEGO, there really is something for everyone to explore.

In addition to a new name and brand-new look the day provides the opportunity to meet researchers, students, community groups and artists in the BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Cultural Quarter on Saturday 9 November, 10:30 – 16:30.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover how the arts and humanities enrich and influence our daily lives with over 45 activities taking place between Sir James Matthews Building, John Hansard Gallery, MAST Mayflower Studios and BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 City Art Gallery.

The Arts and Humanities Day programme runs as part of the annual BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 Arts and Humanities Festival and has been expanded in collaboration with the BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 ESRC Festival of Social Science, adding social science-focused activities, exhibitions, and talks to the mix.

Attendance for the day is free, but registration through Eventbrite is required. Booking is required for some of the events.
