As part of its ongoing membership with the Tyndall Early Careers Network (TECN), led by the Sustainability and Resilience Institute (SRI), the University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 will be hosting an innovative summer school on 16 July.
Organised by Jess Boxall (Research Fellow in Primary Care, Popular Science and Medical Education), and Gracie Horton (PhD student in Geography), the two-day event will highlight the importance of collaboration and interdisciplinarity in climate change research.
Geared towards developing skills for Early Career Researchers, the summer school aims to boost engagement with policymakers, identify future career opportunities, and create the perfect environment for networking and project ideation.
The summer school is hosted every year by a member institution of the TECN and contributes to the Tyndall Centre’s efforts to bring together researchers from the social and natural sciences and engineering to develop sustainable responses to climate change. The event is open to researchers undertaking projects related to sustainability and climate change.
