8 May – ‘Beyond the Doctorate’ Researcher’s Careers Day for Early Career Researcher Staff

7 May – Government Analysts and Academics- Bridging the Gap
Better understand the role of government analysts in policymaking and identify how researchers can engage with government analysts to achieve policy impact.
16 May – Research funding lifecycle and support
Find out about support available during your research funding application journey, plus an update on the current regulatory environment and research landscape.
20 May – Solent Mind: Dealing with change – thriving in times of uncertainty
Discover ways to react to change and some techniques and tools to help you deal with it in a positive way.
Education focused:
7 May – Maximising your delivery (in-person)
Improve your delivery and maximise your voice in lectures in this interactive workshop.
13 May –?Exam best practice – writing effective exam questions
Enhance the quality of your exam questions and engage in discussions about best practices and common pitfalls.
20 May – Supporting students from currently underrepresented backgrounds (in-person)
An introduction to the student groups supported by the Student Inclusion team, namely: free-school meal eligible, IMDQ1, care experienced and estranged, Black, and mature.
28 May – The Pronunciation and Meaning of Chinese Names (in-person)
Establish an instant dialogue and effective rapport with students by learning some correct pronunciation.
28 May – Meet the Enhancement Team: Developing Students’ Academic Skills
