The Doctoral College are pleased to announce that nominations for our 2025 Doctoral College Awards are now open, allowing us to celebrate the exceptional achievements of our doctoral community.

2024 Award Winners

If you know a Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) who has achieved something remarkable this year or made a great contribution to the doctoral community, we encourage you to nominate them in one of the following categories:

Research Awards – Doctoral supervisors are eligible to nominate their PGRs for this award, recognising the contribution of doctoral researchers to a research group, School, Faculty or University research strategy.

Director’s Awards – Both staff and PGRs are able to nominate a PGR for this award, recognising the achievements of doctoral researchers in a variety of different areas, including citizenship and community, knowledge exchange and enterprise, and public engagement and outreach. There is also a special commendation award, for nominations which do not fit in one of the aforementioned categories but still deserve recognition.

The deadline for nominations is 12 noon on Friday 9 May 2025 – submit your nominations here.
