Explore your options at the Summer Careers Fair ?
With the end of the academic year in sight, the Summer Careers Fair on Wednesday 14 May is a great time for you to look forward to this summer and beyond. ?
Bringing together a range of employers from different industries offering internships, work experience, volunteering opportunities, part-time jobs, and graduate roles, this fair is your chance to build in-person connections with employers who are actively looking for candidates for their opportunities. There will also be garden games and a crepe van out on the Redbrick (with a chance to win a free crepe), as well as the Mobile Careers Centre for you to get involved with. ?
We also know it’s important to feel prepared for the end of this academic year. Whether you would like to get some tips and free study resources ahead of your exams and assessments, or you are graduating soon and want to know what to expect, you can visit the dedicated exams and graduation stand at the Careers Fair to help put your mind at ease.??

There are several opportunities with upcoming deadlines which you can explore and apply for before the Summer Careers Fair:?
Summer Innovation Challenge?
The Summer Innovation Challenge will allow you to work with a real client to tackle their business challenge and gain valuable work experience in only four days. As part of the action-packed schedule, you will receive training and support to help you get started, and work with a diverse team of bright minds on how to best address your clients’ needs. You will then pitch your ideas to your clients for a chance of winning a ?1000 prize. ?
There are two Summer Innovation Challenges taking place in June – if you are successful, you will be assigned to work with one client during one of the following weeks:??
- Monday 16 – Thursday 19 June – Work with Shell or BDO??
- Monday 23 – Thursday 26 June – Work with Northrop Grumman or Siemens??
