Researchers are invited to participate in the Research Methods Rendezvous.
The free online event will explore the process of transforming early-stage ideas into research projects.
It is being run by the National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) on 10 September and 29 October 2025.
Participants will explore cutting-edge social science questions, be part of research developments and connect with researchers within and outside their disciplines.
During the two sessions, participants will hear from presenters about their research ideas and help to develop them.
A seven-week collaboration period between the sessions will give presenters and participants the opportunity to continue to work on the ideas.
The Research Methods Rendezvous is open to researchers at all career stages and from any sector.
To apply to participate, researchers must complete an online application form by Wednesday 2 July 2025.
NCRM, which is based in the Faculty of Social Sciences, runs more than 50 courses and events each year, hosts an extensive library of free online learning resources and supports methodological innovation.
