Join colleagues at this year’s CHEP Festival, ‘Building the Future across the Triple Helix’, which takes place on 8, 9, 10 (online) and 14 July (in-person).
There will be 50+ online and in-person workshops, plus presentations showcasing innovative academic practice across the Triple Helix (Education, Research and Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise).
Professor Phillip Wright (Senior Vice-President Academic) is opening the in-person event on Monday 14 July and will be focusing on the size, shape and aspirations of the University followed by a keynote by Dr Neil Gostling. “Twisting Through the Triple Helix: Lessons from Hidden in Stone” will see Neil explore the personal and professional challenges of navigating the “Triple Helix” of academic practice, sharing what he has learnt, what he’d do differently, and why it was all worth it.
There will also be various panel sessions taking place with senior leaders across all three strands covering key issues in HE, discussions on REF, KEF, TEF and insights on future priorities. The extensive range of contributions from the UoS community means that there is something for everyone, including:
For Educators: Inclusive & Engaging Teaching / Assessment Innovation / Global & Digital Classrooms
For Researchers: Positive Research Culture / Funding & Strategy / Ethics & Equity
For Knowledge Exchange & Enterprise (KEE): Embedding KEE as part of the Triple Helix / The civic university in the devolved context / Creative Engagement
