Essential improvement works on the campus water supply network will take place on Wednesday 9, Monday 14, Tuesday 15 July and Saturday 19 July. These works involve replacing life expired valves and installing additional ones to reduce the risk of future disruption.
What to expect on affected days
Water supply will be switched off from 06:30 and is expected to be restored by 11:00.
Bottled drinking water will be provided to all affected buildings.

Wednesday 9 July
Buildings 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 23, 25, 36, and 85 will be impacted. The Staff Party will not be impacted by these works, as none of the buildings affected are being used for party activities.
Buildings 5, 7, 13, 19, 36 and 85 have tanks supplying the toilets, and so the toilets and sinks in those buildings will continue to function. For the remaining buildings, toilets will be signed as out of use by Estates. Users should use alternative buildings for toilet facilities.
Monday 14 July
Buildings 30, 34, and 37 will be impacted.
Building 30 and the old part of Building 37 have tanks supplying the toilets, and so the toilets and sinks in those areas will continue to function.?For the remaining areas, toilets will be signed as out of use by Estates. Users should use alternative buildings for toilet facilities.
Tuesday 15 July
Building 46 will be impacted.
Building 46 has tanks supplying the toilets, so toilets and sinks will continue to function.
Saturday 19 July
Buildings 2, 4, 6, 38, 40, 56, and 58 will be impacted.
Buildings 2, 4, 6 and 58 have tanks supplying the toilets, and so the toilets and sinks in those buildings will continue to function. For the remaining buildings, toilets will be signed as out of use by Estates. Users should use alternative buildings for toilet facilities.
