Host: Dr Jessica Teeling, Profssor of Experimental Neuroimmunology, Biological Sciences.

Aims of the collaboration

To investigate the relationship between common system infections and Alzheimer's disease, with a focus on the protein Cathepsin B.
To develop the potential for translation of findings from experimental models to human subjects.
To increase shared knowledge and future exchange activities for scientists between institutions in the UK and Japan.
