Professor Anita Krishnan

Anita has vast experience in leading curriculum design of both UG and PG education. She has oversight of the execution of quality teaching and learning as well as student experience in BOBÌåÓýµÇ¼ÍøÖ·_Å·±¦ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøƽ̨-APP|ÏÂÔØ Business School (SBS). Anita has also been actively involved in the design of programmes offered in BOBÌåÓýµÇ¼ÍøÖ·_Å·±¦ÌåÓý¹ÙÍøƽ̨-APP|ÏÂÔØ¡¯s branch campus, UoSMalaysia (UoSM) and is the Chair of the Board of Examiners for both the undergraduate SBS in UK and UoSM. Anita has led the working group for Assurance of Learning (AoL) in the attainment of AACSB accreditation.

Under her leadership of undergraduate education and student experience, with a focus on establishing strategic objectives, compliance and due diligence, Anita has made pivotal improvements in the SBS NSS and Guardian League Tables performance. 

Anita currently teaches on modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels: Financial Accounting 2 (UG), Accounting and Control (PG) and Accounting for Corporate Performance (PG).

Anita is a qualified accountant with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA, CGMA) and has almost two decades of professional experience in external audit, internal audit, accounting and compliance, predominantly in large listed stockbroking companies. Following that, Anita embarked on her academic career in the University of Surrey thirteen years ago and has extensive experience in teaching professional as well as university studies in the UK and Asia. Her teaching interests are largely related to Financial Accounting, Financial Reporting and Management Accounting at Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG) and MBA levels with research interest in Governance, Gender and Corporate Performance.
