Special issue of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, Series A in honour of Fred Smith and Chris Skinner
In Summer 2021 the University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 and London School of Economics hosted an on-line conference in memory of Fred Smith and Chris Skinner.
Fred Smith and Chris Skinner , two giants of the world of survey statistics, had long careers at BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 died in December 2019 and February 2020.? A selection of papers from the conference are in a special issue of the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society. Series A was edited by a pair of current Smiths in the Department of Social Statistics & Demography – Professor Paul Smith and Professor Peter Smith. Their Royal Statistical Society editorial papers from the conference are available to read. BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 former colleague Tim Holt , instigated the conference and special issue. Unfortunately, Tim passed away suddenly before the special issue appeared.
