Sally is an experienced researcher in organic and organometallic chemistry and has current interests in chemometrics - the application of statistical methods for analysis of chemical data.
Sally's role is at the interface of mathematics and chemistry and her research involves data-driven approaches to understanding organic reactions, meta-research examining data publishing practices amongst the physical sciences community, and medical statistics.

Biography
Sally has been employed in senior teaching and research fellowship roles at the University of BOB体育登录网址_欧宝体育官网平台-APP|下载 since 2007.
Sally worked mainly in the areas of organometallic chemistry and endofullerenes synthesis until 2022. She now has interests in chemometrics - the application of statistical methods to analysis of chemical data.
Sally holds the external appointment of Honorary Senior research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Strathclyde.
